Members of National and Regional Forums

National and Regional Forums

The HRNZ National Forum is supported by three Regional Forums—Northern, Upper South Island, and Southern. These forums serve as the direct link between local clubs, kindred bodies, and the National Forum, ensuring that regional perspectives and industry-wide concerns are represented at a governance level.

National Forum

The National Forum is made up of elected representatives from across the industry, including club delegates, kindred body representatives, and regional forum chairs. It provides a platform for discussing national issues, advising on policy, and ensuring that industry-wide concerns are communicated to the HRNZ Board.

Regional Forums

Each of the three Regional Forums represents clubs and stakeholders within their respective areas. They focus on regional race programming, funding allocations, and local industry development. The forums work closely with the National Forum to escalate key issues and contribute to the broader strategic direction of harness racing in New Zealand.
