I work for Dave and Clare McGowan, and was lucky enough that Dave gave me my first horse China.

China is a real sweetheart and loves learning new things. From jumping to endurance, she just loves being busy!

In the year we have been together we have competed in a few inhand and ridden shows coming away with champion twice. We have also received a second in a show jumping day.

China and I have just started our second year of endurance riding in the Waiuku Forest, completing the 20km with ease a couple of weeks ago.

China is a lot of fun to ride and hasn’t put a hoof wrong in the year I have had her, she is such a quick learner and a joy to work with. She’s my best friend and I love her to bits!
