I have a fantastic horse called Spur and he has been the most amazing horse to start under saddle.

Spur and I have been on some fantastic adventures together. We have been over the highest point on the Te Araroa saddle on a five day trek from Tekapo to Messapotamia and we have been over the historic Bullock Bow. 

Earlier in the year we rode for five days from Kekerangu on the East Coast through the Bluff and Muzzle stations with a pack horse in tow and up over the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges.

We have been over to Haast and ridden the wild West Coast rivers and valleys. We have been on so many epic adventures and I look forward to so many more.

I love this horse so much. He is a real mate and he's got a great work ethic. I'm proud of him and how he's adjusted to life after racing.
