We decided to get a project horse to keep us busy throughout the first lockdown last year, March 2020.

Max was started under saddle and was very quick to adapt. His attitude towards the sport horse transition, as well as his talent, started to shine through.

At our first show together Max and I came home with a neck full of ribbons. We made the top four for champion on the flat and claimed reserve champion over hurdles, this was a huge achievement for us.

We look forward to our second season together, which will include training days and a few competitions.

Max and I were also lucky enough to compete at the very first Battle of the Breeds, Standardbred vs Thoroughbred competition.

We are excited to see where the future takes us.
