Draws out for the Go Media New Zealand Trotting Cup and Renwick Farms Dominion Trot

The draw has been cruel to a number of leading Kiwi chances in next Tuesday's Go Media New Zealand Trotting Cup at Addington Raceway.

Top local hopes Marketplace (11), The Lazarus Effect (17), It's Tough (14) and Merlin (16) have all drawn the second row while fellow Kiwi contenders Mo'unga (3) and Republican Party (10) have fared much better and will start off the front.

In contrast the big three Australian threats have all drawn well - superstar and hot favourite Leap to Fame will start from eight while defending champion Kingman is at four, potentially just inside two-time champion Swayzee.

He is at six currently but Rubira (5) is the second emergency.

In the Renwick Farms Dominion Trot Rowe Cup winner Mr Love has landed a great  marble. He will start at 3 on the front row and could come into two if Tarragindi comes out while defending champion Gus (12), fellow Australian Rockinwithattitude (13) and top New Zealand chances Habibti Pat (15) and rising star Prestigious (14) have all drawn the second row.
