Turnover tops $4m
Turnover at harness racing meetings around the country last week (March 15-20) topped $4m.
Latest figures from the TAB show that the total at the seven meetings was $4,134,191, an increase of $38,168 on the same week last year.
Sunday's meeting on the grass at Banks Peninsula led the way with turnover of $915,229 followed by Wyndham (Saturday) $718,060, Addington (Friday) $717,135, Auckland (Friday) $629,496, Manawatu (Thursday) $441,275, Timaru (Wednesday) $376,724, and Manawatu (Tuesday) $336,272.
The combined Friday night turnover at Addington and Alexandra Park was $1,346,631.
