Sparkling line-up for Nevele R Fillies Final

One of the features of New Zealand Cup and Show Week, the Nevele R Fillies Final is already shaping up to be a cracker.

Boom fillies Aardie's Express and True Fantasy sealed their places last week, and now Queen of Diamonds has followed suit on the back of her victory in Heat 3 at Oamaru yesterday.

The All Stars-trained Queen Of Diamonds justified her hot favouritism by winning by half a head from Obsession, who had already qualified for the final after finishing second to First Rose in the opening heat last month.

Aardie's Express again showed what a class performer she is at Addington on Friday night. She made it eight wins in nine starts with a commanding five length win in the Woodlands Stud Sires' Stakes "Harness 7000".

There are still four more heats, including one this Friday at Alexandra Park, to be run before the Final is held at Addington on IRT New Zealand Cup Day, Tuesday November 8.
