Seth Hill grabs Friday night double at Addington

Junior driver Seth Hill enjoyed the perfect double at Addington last night.
It was two wins from two starters for his father Brendon "Benny" Hill with favourites Renegade and Mickey Holler both producing gritty winning efforts.
"It was pleasing," says Hill, "winning races at Addington on Friday night is what you want to be doing, so it was very good."
It follows a treble Hill had at Addington in April and his first Group 1 victory with Cath in the Pascoes The Jewellers Northern Oaks at Alexandra Park in May.
Last night, off a 25 metre mark, Renegade produced the goods in the Aquacraft Plumbing Pipe Line Sprint Handicap Pace.
"He stepped a lot better last night and he seems pretty happy bowling along in front," says Hill, "and he is improving all the time."
Renegade settled third early before Hill pressed forward to the front.
Da Vinci, who had the perfect run in the trail, loomed up the passing lane but Renegade held on to win by a head.
It was his eighth career win at start 31.
Just two races later Hill was back in winning form with Mickey Holler in the Hydroflow Distributors Ltd Mobile Pace, despite a quick skip behind the mobile.
"He was not easy on himself early, he was green but dug deep."
Hill had no choice but be patient. They settled second last before Hill made his move a lap out to sit parked.
Mickey Holler looked to have the race in safe keeping though Poseidon and Gavin Smith made things interesting with a late burst to claim second - the $1.50 favourite getting home by a head in the end.
It was Mickey Holler's first win in four starts but he had impressed with a trial win at Rangiora on June 17.
It was a good night too for John Dunn who had a hat-trick of wins with first starter Gunslinger Willy, Four Wise Women and hot favourite Scrunch while Bob Butt landed a double with Zoltan Boscik and Major Cyclone and Bruce Negus trained two winners, at double figure odds, in Carlin and Classie Linc.
