Self Assured joins Pembrook Playboy in "The Race"
And then there were two. 2020 New Zealand Cup champion Self Assured has joined southern star Pembrook Playboy as confirmed starters for the brand new "The Race" that will be held at Cambridge on April 14.
Pembrook Playboy was the first to be signed up, by Dunstan Feeds for the brand new slot race, that will have a stake of $900,000.
And then Self Assured was confirmed by slot-holder, sports radio network SENZ.
Both Pembrook Playboy and Self Assured were in action on Saturday.
Pembrook Playboy was second in Saturday's Riverton Cup at Invercargill, while Self Assured was a comfortable winner of the last on Harness Million night at Alexandra Park.
