NZ Sires’ Stakes Board preparing to extend key payment deadlines
The New Zealand Sires’ Stakes Board advises participants of an extension to the upcoming July 1 payment deadlines relating to foal nominations, yearling sustaining payments, and three-year-old sustaining payments.
These payments will now close on September 1, 2026, with remittances scheduled to be emailed and mailed in late July.
The extension is intended to provide additional certainty and flexibility for breeders, owners, and participants, while also ensuring continuity of service and administration across the New Zealand Sires’ Stakes programmes.
Every effort will be made to ensure remittances are issued to the correct contact details on record. However, participants who believe they should have received a remittance but have not done so are encouraged to contact the NZ Sires’ Stakes Board promptly.
The Board also advises that Executive support and administrative arrangements will be adjusted over the coming weeks. As a result, direct contact with the NZSS Executive, Martin Pierson, will be unavailable during this period, and participants are strongly encouraged to attend to any payment or administration queries as early as possible through the contacts listed below.
