Big day planned for Addington
A return to Alert Level Three south of Auckland will coincide with an influx of horses heading to Addington today.
A total of 123 horses will be involved in 22 heats, including workouts and qualifiers, from 8.15am – 1.30pm Wednesday.
Among those expected on-track today are the likes of Plutonium Lady (R83) and Midnight Dash (R91).
Under Alert Level Three protocols only essential staff are allowed on track – that means no owners – and everyone has to scan in, wear masks, hand sanitise and socially distance.
It’s been just over fortnight since the last race meeting was held (at Kurow) with meetings scheduled for Invercargill tomorrow (Thursday), Cambridge and Addington on Friday, and Addington (Ashburton Trotting Club) again on Sunday.
