Best of the best to be recognised at HRNZ awards

Just who will be crowned Horse of the Year will be known tonight.

The NZB Airfreight Harness Racing New Zealand awards for the 2020-21 season will be held at Addington Raceway, with the Terror To Love and Silks Lounges each holding up to 100 people, as per current Covid protocols.

The awards have been delayed several times because of the pandemic.

More than 30 awards will be given out, including the most coveted of them all, Horse of the Year. We don't want to give too much away but there will be a few surprises during the night!

A livestream of the function will be available through the HRNZ Facebook page.

A full list of the night's winners will be posted on the HRNZ website and social media channels at the conclusion of the function.

Doors open at 5.30, with the first award at 6pm.

Guests will have to wear their masks until they are shown to their appropriate pod. Everyone will be given a drink on arrival and beer/wine will be served with dinner. There will also be a cash bar for those wanting to purchase spirits.
