New Zealand racing's long-term future depends on having the right infrastructure in the right places. Project Stamina is an independent, evidence- based review of New Zealand’s thoroughbred and harness racing venue network.

It considers how racing and training infrastructure can be better aligned with where horses, participants and wagering demand concentrated today, allowing investment to be focused on fewer, higher-quality facilities that will support the long-term future of the industry.

One Equine View is a shared position by both NZTR and HRNZ, setting out where the codes align with the Masterplan, where they differ, and the actions they consider to be most material now and into the future.

The aim is to support investment in fewer, higher-quality facilities and create a venue network that is financially sustainable, resilient and able to support the long-term future of racing.
