Trials pencilled in for Wednesday
As long as Canterbury is in at least Alert Level 3, next week’s trials will be run at Addington on Wednesday, September 1.
After much consideration HRNZ has decided there will be no Chertsey or Rangiora trials next week. This is in line with established protocols that stipulate racing is held at just four venues during Alert Level Three.
Addington and Ascot Park are the two South Island venues.
Tuesday was a possibility for the trials but with the greyhounds on at Addington from noon and the likelihood of big numbers it wasn’t feasible and considered something of a risk.
Nominations for the trials should be done online or to Addington Racing Dept by 1pm Tuesday. HRNZ/Addington will make up the fields.
