Stridemaster Sectional Stars

Oscar Bonavena ran the fastest Last Mile, Last 800m and Last 400m for a trotter when winning impressively. He gained automatic entry into the Group 1 Airpark Canterbury Dominion Trot with his win and looks a force to be reckoned with come the second week of November.

Ashley Locaz returned to racing with a spirited effort when running 4th but recording the fastest Last Mile and Last 800m of the night. With
expected improvement from the run Ashley Locaz could be hard to beat in some of the upcoming feature races.

Pur Dan recorded the fastest Last 400m of the night when running 2nd to his Group 1 placed stablemate. Creating a bit of an impression with his two starts to date, Pur Dan could well feature in future 3yo races this season.

Also of note for the night were the performances of B Mac C and Lone Star Lad who both made very good ground in the home straight and consequently recorded very good closing sectionals.
