Reminder : HRNZ Accountable Person regulations
Harness Racing New Zealand’s Horse Care Regulations have been in place for nearly two years now, so we thought it would be timely to update everyone on how the Accountable Person Regulations may affect all trainers and owners of a Standardbred.
A key part of our Horse Care Regulations is that all horses must now have an Accountable Person at each stage of their life from birth until deregistration from racing/breeding.
For more information on who the Accountable Person needs to be, please click here or refer to our Horse Care Regulations on our website here
If you are the Accountable Person for a horse, then you are responsible for making sure the Regulations are upheld.
If you are having trouble changing the Accountable Person for a horse or have a question, please contact [email protected]
