Rangiora meeting a betting bonanza

Latest figures from the TAB show the six meetings, from Thursday through to Monday, showed a total of $4,962,100 –compared to last year’s total of $5,356,622.

A major factor in the fall was the abandonment of the second day at Hawera on Friday because of bad weather. That meeting has been rescheduled to February 23.
