Paul Howlett - In his own words

Paul Howlett has been around horses most of his life – as a driver, trainer, owner and breeder.

His latest success on the track was Isla Elsie, a trotter he co-bred. She won her debut at Addington in July.

But it’s as a farrier that he is best known and we asked him about his early life in Australia before moving to New Zealand as a teenager.
