New horse ambulance for Addington Raceway
Harness racing in Canterbury is set to benefit from the delivery of New Zealand’s seventh
horse ambulance, that will be permanently based at Addington Raceway.
The ambulance was officially handed over this afternoon.
The expansion of the horse ambulance fleet was made possible by a grant from One Foundation and a
generous gift from the Estate of Mary Kotzikas.
“The Trust sincerely appreciates the support of the One Foundation and Mr Kotzikas, whose
generosity will directly lead to better outcomes for New Zealand’s racehorses and sport
horses,” said Martin Burns, Chair of the NZHAT.
