Methven Trotting Club - "we are good to go"

It's all go for Sunday's Methven Cup meeting after the weekend's cold snap.

"The track will be on the soft side as it often is coming out of winter but we have done the inspections and everyone's happy," says Methven Trotting Club President Laurence Hanrahan.

"We had 27-28 mils of rain and two inches of snow on the track but that was gone by Sunday afternoon."

"We are all good to go."

The weather is also expected to be good all week, with fine conditions and 16 degrees forecast for race day.

Features for Sunday include the $40,000 Alabar Group 3 Methven Cup and the $25,000 Yabby Dam Farm Fillies and Mares Trot.
