Naming Sponsor announced for Australasian Young Drivers Championship
Harness Racing New Zealand is thrilled to announce the naming sponsor for this year’s Australasian Young Driver’s Championship will be Hanley Formula.
Hanley Formula has been a staunch supporter of the industry for many years, and are also active supporters of Life After Racing initiatives.
“The Hanley Formula team is really excited to support the harness racing industry,” said Philippa Hanley of Hanley Formula.
“We are passionate about helping life after racing and rehoming with our sponsorship, and now the next generation of drivers from Australasia.”
The series is held annually and this year will be hosted in New Zealand from December 6 -15, with heats held at the following meetings:
- Addington Saturday 7 December
- Methven Sunday 8 December
- Manawatu Tuesday 10 December
- Manawatu Thursday 12 December
- Alexandra Park Friday 13 December
The New Zealand representatives have been confirmed, with the Australian team to be confirmed during the first week of September.
The New Zealand team is: Sheree Tomlinson, John Morrison, Sarah O’Reilly and Benjamin Butcher.
