Junior Drivers secure spots for Championship
The twelve drivers have been decided for the McMillan Equine Feeds Junior Drivers Championship.
The top six from the North and South Islands will square off over two race meetings at Addington Raceway on July 24 and 26. It’s expected the championships will be contested over six races.
Their places have been decided on the number of points they have accrued since the start of the season (1/08/2019) - 12/6/2020.
The South Island team has one change from last year with Kerryn Tomlinson making the team for the first time, alongside her older sister Sheree, who will be team captain.
Defending champion Sarah O’Reilly also returns as do John Morrison, Mark Hurrell and Ben Hope.
The North Island features two changes to last year. Newcomers Nathan Delany and Taitlyn Hanara will join forces with captain Dylan Ferguson, 2018 champion Alicia Harrison, Luke Whittaker and Fergus Schumacher.
