Hydration the key in scorching temperatures

They say the show must go on - rain,hail or shine – and this week it’s been more than just shining with temperatures in the high thirties, and pushing 40 along the east coast of the South Island.
For trainers, drivers and others in the harness racing game there were still trials to go to at Ashburton and Rangiora so we headed along to see how everyone, including the horses, are coping with the hottest week of the summer.
