First impressions key to selecting horses at yearling sales
The NZB Standardbred yearling sales are only days away, with Karaka on this Saturday and Sunday, followed by Christchurch next week (Monday-Wednesday).
On-farm visits are a critical part of the build-up to the sales where prospective owners get to see the horses up close.
The roadshow has moved to Southland, after more than a dozen visits were made in Canterbury last week.
We asked "what are the dos and don'ts" when it comes to selecting horses.
