Diamonds Day features and Auckland giveaway

All is ready for the running of several of the Diamonds Day feature events that could not take place at the traditional time of year due to Covid restrictions earlier in the year at tomorrow’s Invercargill Harness Racing Club meeting at Ascot Park Raceway in Invercargill.

Racing commences at 2.48pm and with the lengthy southern twilight the last is set to run at 7.41pm allowing plenty of time for people who are working on the day to get along and catch plenty of action with all the feature events scheduled from after 5.00pm.

Three Group 3 races - the Alabar Southern Supremacy Stakes Final, the Macca Lodge/Nevele R Stud Southland Oaks Final and the Diamond Creek Farm Classic are on the programme along with the Southern Belle Series Final supported by the Southern Standardbred Breeders Assn, Macca Lodge and Vet South Equine.

Admission to the course on the day will be free.

Auckland trotting Club giveaway :

Magness Benrow in conjunction with Fisher & Paykel are giving away a Washing Machine to one lucky person that is on course at Alexandra park on Friday.

To enter this competition there will be a page in race book to complete and pop in the competition boxes that will around the course on the night.

At Race 7 we will draw the winner from these entries. The winner needs to be on course to redeem this prize.
