Countdown to WDC 2025: Just 100 Days Away

The Countdown is On: 100 Days Until the World Driving Championship

The countdown is officially on with just 100 days until the world’s best harness racing drivers touch down in New Zealand for the 2025 World Driving Championship.

From 2–11 November, ten top international drivers will compete in 20 heats across five race meetings, all chasing points toward the world title. It’s the first time New Zealand has hosted the WDC, and it’s shaping up to be a highlight on the harness racing calendar.

The drivers will be going head-to-head at some of New Zealand’s most iconic racetracks. Every heat will matter with points gained all leading towards crowning the World Champion.

But WDC 2025 isn’t just about what happens on the track. Fans can expect a great atmosphere and top-level hospitality at every venue. There’ll be opportunities to meet the drivers, take part in fan events, and experience a racing week like no other.

Whether you’re a regular at the races or new to the sport, this is something you won’t want to miss.

Save the date: 2–11 November 2025. The world is coming.
