Club News : Methven - Sept 9

Owners intending to watch their horse at Methven on Sunday will need to register either with secretary Richard Bromley 021-888-900 or e-mail [email protected]

All entry will be recorded manually or with the Covid app.

We would ask owners to enjoy their race but leave the course within a reasonable amount of time so the club does not exceed the allowed amount of 100 people in the owners' bubble.

Limited food will be available in the owners' bubble but owners would be wise to perhaps bring a little food or drink to sustain them.

Owners and trainers are reminded there will be no betting facilities on course except through their phones or at the nearby Brown Pub in Methven.

Trainers, drivers and stablehands will be restricted to their bubble which will be float, stables and birdcage.

Lastly as a club we are extremely grateful for owners, trainers and drivers supporting our meeting and apologies for taking some of the enjoyment out of the day but if we get through this day successfully our Methven Cup meeting is only 4 weeks away and we will hopefully be in a position to resume normal practice.

Regards to all Mike Heenan (Methven Trotting Club)
