Calling all owners, potential owners & trainers

It’s a win-win -  we want to match owners with horses, and vice versa

Harness Racing New Zealand is keen to hear from anyone wanting to get involved in Standardbred ownership. You can already have horses and be looking to extend your involvement, or you can be a total novice. We also want to hear from trainers who are looking for new owners. It doesn’t matter if they Weanlings or race ready we want to know about them.  

The options for owners are many and varied. You can buy horses outright, go into a syndicate,  or enter into  lease agreements. The options are designed to fit it with people’s individual circumstances  – it does not have to blow the budget.
