Applications Open for HRNZ Director Positions

Harness Racing New Zealand is inviting applications for two Board Director positions ahead of the 2025 AGM.

In line with the HRNZ Constitution, two directors are due to retire by rotation this year, one appointed and one elected.  Both incumbents have confirmed they will reapply.

The Director Nomination Panel welcomes fresh interest from individuals with strong governance experience and a passion for harness racing.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Proven leadership and governance capability
• Strategic thinking and sound decision-making
• A deep understanding of and commitment to harness racing
• Experience aligned with the evolving needs of the Board

At the same time, we are also inviting Expressions of Interest from individuals who may not be ready to stand this year but are interested in contributing to the governance of Harness Racing NZ in the future.
