All go for Westport
It's all go for Westport this December.
Flooding, described as a one in one hundred year event, engulfed the Westport Trotting Club's home at Patterson Park in July.
Since then countless hours of hard work have seen massive progress to the racecourse and its amenities and the club has sent through some photos to assure people that everything is on track for their bumper meetings on Boxing Day and December 28.
So you can organise your trip to the coast with confidence that two of the biggest days of the racing calendar will be on, and as good as ever.
