2YO scheduled released for 2026

HRNZ has released its tentative 2YO schedule for the second half of 2026.

In total there will be more than 70 races for the juveniles between August and December, with the flexibility to add more if required.

The schedule's goal is to deliver competitive racing for 2YOs throughout the country and to provide pathways to the 2YO features, including the four Group 1s that will be held at Alexandra Park (September 18) and at Addington in November.

Stakes for the races have yet to be announced though they are expected to be confirmed shortly when budgets for 2026/27 are finalised.
