Williamsons nab top prize in Central Circuit Trainers' Bonus

The Central Otago Trotting Club, Roxburgh Trotting Club and the Wyndham Harness Racing Club are delighted to announce the winners of the Central Circuit Trainers' Bonus.

A total of $4,500 was up for grabs from the three clubs with points allocated over two bonus schemes, one for public trainers and one for licence to train trainers. Public Trainers had a pool of $4,000 with $2,500 for the winner, $1,000 for second and $500 for third. Licence to Train Trainers had a pool of $500 with $300 for the winner, $200 for the runner up.

The points were allocated as 5 points for a win, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd and 1 point for every starter that is unplaced.

Public Trainer Bonus Scheme results:

1st - Phil & Bev Williamson on 55 points, $2,500.

2nd - Tony Stratford on 27 points, $1,000.

3rd equal - Brad Williamson and Cran & Chrissie Dalgety, 20 points each . This prize becomes $250 each .

Honourable mention to Alistair Black , Robert & Jenna Dunn , Brendon Hill and Robbie and Carla Holmes.

Licence to Train Bonus Scheme results:

1st - Cheree Wigg on 13 points, $300.

2nd - Tyler Dewe on 10 points, $200.

Honourable mention to Shannon Armour , Wayne McEwan and Lionel Sinnamon.
