Turn It Up! The Punter’s Podcast with Jonny Turner

The clash between pacing sensation Self Assured and New Zealand Cup favourite Spankem headlines this week’s edition of Turn It Up! The Punter’s Podcast.

Trainer-driver Mark Purdon joins host, Jonny Turner, ahead of the epic clash  between his two speedsters.

Purdon also updates listeners on the progress of Ultimate Machete and Another Masterpiece, who are among the 16-strong team he takes to Addington on Friday night.

The master trainer also discusses return of One Change and how he ranks the five strong attack his stable has on meeting’s Sires Stakes heat.

Southland trainer-driver Nathan Williamson also joins Turn It Up! The Punter’s Podcast ahead of what is arguably the best southern meeting of the season, so far, at Ascot Park on Sunday.

Williamson lines up winning chances across the programme, including Franco Santino, who contests the Riverton Cup.

The 2700m handicap has attracted an outstanding line up including Robyns Playboy, Mongolian Cavalry, Paddyproudfoot and Hayden’s Meddle.
