Tickets on sale for HRNZ awards

Tickets are now available for the NZB Airfreight Harness Racing New Zealand awards night at Addington Raceway on Saturday, March 5.

The function will recognise the best performers in our sport - both equine and human - and culminate in the night's biggest award, Horse of the Year.

The awards have been postponed several times because of Covid protocols and there will be restrictions because of the red light system. The awards will held on two separate floors at the raceway, each with their own host and housing a pod of up to 100 people.

Those attending will be directed to the appropriate area - either the Christian Cullen or Terror To Love lounges - on the night.

A video link between the two areas will ensure that no-one misses a moment of the night's awards.

Tickets are $130 each for dinner and a drink on arrival, though there will be discounts for licence-holders aged under 30, and people buying tables for eight people.

Doors open at 5.30pm with the first award set down for 6pm.
