NZ Sires' Stakes series update
Thirteen horses have made the cut for the Group One Woodlands Stud Colts and Geldings Sires’ Stakes Series 38 Final at Addington on Tuesday November 9.
In the fifth and final heat at Ashburton on Monday, Franco Indie again proved he’ll be the horse to beat.
It was his second win this series, and in a new New Zealand record. His time for the 1700 metres was 1:58.2, representing a mile rate of 1:51.9
Other heat winners to make the final are Major Perry, Republican Party, and Blameitonthenight.
There have been five heats with the 1980m final, on Cup day, worth $170,000.
