Novel fundraiser for Blue September

Harness Racing New Zealand is offering a unique opportunity to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Four dual sulky rides will be auctioned off at HRNZ's Blue September launch dinner at Addington on Friday, September 2. What's on offer is a drive in a dual sulky race alongside Blue September ambassadors Blair Orange, Robbie Close, Matty Williamson or Korbyn Newman. They have nearly 4000 wins between them!
The dual sulky race will be held at Methven on Sunday, September 11.
To bid on the auction you must be at the dinner, and the four successful bidders can take up the offer themselves, or transfer it to anyone of their choosing.
A special guest on the night will be Crusaders and All Blacks prop Joe Moody. He has a very personal reason to be involved, his father Tony died from prostate cancer in July 2020. Joe will be involved in a question and answer session on the night.
All proceeds from the auctions and $10 from each ticket sold will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. This is the second year HRNZ has been involved in Blue September, with high hopes this year's total will exceed the $20,000 that was raised in 2021.
The launch dinner will be held at the Terror To Love Lounge with tickets costing $50 each, or $450 for a table of ten.
