Nominations Open for Derby and Oaks
Nominations are now open for both the 2022 New Zealand Pacing Derby & the New Zealand Pacing Oaks at Addington on December 4.
The two three-year-old pacing features are a key part of the new Harness Grand Prix 2022, which will see eight Group 1s raced on the one day.
The Derby dates back to 1914 with the roll of champions including Courage Under Fire (1999), Elsu (2003), Lazarus (2016) and Krug last year while Mainland Banner (2005), Adore Me (2013) and Bettor Twist (2021) have been among the recent fillies to triumph in the Oaks.
Nominations for both prestigious races will close on Wednesday 12 October 2022, with the fixed odds markets available shortly afterwards.
