Latest Cup and Dominion Trot Rankings

After beating dual New Zealand Cup winner Copy That in the Alabar Spring Cup, Fernleigh Cash has climbed eight places in the latest Road to the Cup rankings.

The Team Telfer-trained pacer registered his seventh win in 18 starts at Alexandra Park last Friday and goes from 43rd to 35th in this week's IRT New Zealand Cup rankings.

At the top, Copy That remains at number one.

Bach, who won the Hill Lee and Scott Lawyers Handicap Pace at Addington on Thursday night, is another mover, improving 12 places from 38th to 26th.

The top 15 eligible pacers will contest the New Zealand Cup, the country's greatest race, at Addington on Tuesday, November 14.

In the rankings for trotting's biggest race the Dominion, Oscar Bonavena has improved two places to fourth after taking out the Majestic Son D G Jones Memorial Trotting Cup at Motukarara on Sunday.

Trained by Mark and Nathan Purdon Oscar Bonavena was very impressive, giving Olivia Thornley her 50th career driving success.

Resolve, who finished second in the same race, moves up two places to seventh while Unico Vacanza has improved from 30th to 22nd on the back of his win in the Faulks Investment Handicap Trot at Addington last Thursday.
