Last Metro Series Heats and Finals for 2025
The final round of the Northern Metro Series Heats and Finals for 2025 will be held at Alexandra Park over the next three weeks.
The highly popular series will return with $15,000 heats for both 3YO and older R35-45 Trotters and Pacers on November 21 and 28 before the $35,000 Finals for both gaits on Friday, December 5.
The last Finals were held at the Park a fortnight ago. The Barry Purdon and Scott Phelan team quinellaed the Northern Metro Pacers Final with Confederate and Im Sandra Dee while Bravehearthighlander was a dominant winner of the Trotters Final for junior driver Jacob Dunn.

November 21 :
Trotters - $15k – 3YO+ 35-45 Mobile 2200m
Pacers - $15k – 3YO+ 35-45 Mobile 2200m
November 28 :
Trotters - $15k – 3YO+ 35-45 Mobile 2200m
Pacers - $15k – 3YO+ 35-45 Mobile 2200m
Finals :
December 5 :
Trotters - $35k – 3YO+ R35-50 Mobile 2200m
Pacers - $35k – 3YO+ R35-50 Mobile 2200m
If a horse wins both a heat and a final the final is penalty free.
