IRT Harness Jewels preview show on tonight

It’s IRT Harness Jewels week, and tonight Trackside will broadcast the Box Seat Preview Show at 9 pm.

Greg O'Connor and Michael Guerin will analyse each race and punters can hear from key trainers and drivers including Natalie Rasmussen, Blair Orange, John Dunn, Tony Herlihy, Maurice McKendry, Ben, Zac and David Butcher and Mark Jones.  

Sunday will see nine Group Ones at Cambridge Raceway, all worth $100,000. 

The team will also try to extend their Bet of the Week winning streak to 13 weeks on end.

The Box Seat preview show will also be featured on www.hrnz.co.nz. 

Meanwhile trainer Hayden Cullen has advised the Stewards of a minor training incident yesterday involving his Jewels runner 'Suntan'.

The horse sustained some superficial damage, consisting mainly of skin loss to her hind legs and was immediately administered treatment.

It’s believed the injury was only minor and could be effectively managed over the coming days. However it could potentially force a change to the horse's intended training regime. A further update will be provided in the next 48 hours.
