HRNZ reminder : Traffic Light protocols

There are many options for people wanting to go to the races this weekend, including Dunedin and Auckland today, Addington tomorrow and Motukarara on Sunday.

But wherever you are going, don’t forget we are now under the new Traffic Light protocols, and everyone needs to have their vaccine passport handy.

If you are a member of the public in red areas (Auckland) there will be pods of no more than 100 people while in orange areas there is no limit on crowd numbers.

Racegoers including owners and sponsors must be double vaccinated and have a vaccine pass with them. This will be sighted before they are allowed entry. Also remember those people checking your passes are following Government instructions so please be respectful.

If you are working at the meeting you must have either a full vaccine pass or a card showing that you’ve had your first vaccination.

Mask wearing is still important, and please be socially distanced.

It’s great to have people back on course and please do things right so we can continue racing.
