Forbury Park clearance date confirmed
A date has been confirmed for Forbury Park’s clearance sale.
After a number of Covid-related delays the sale is set to go ahead on Thursday, December 9 at 1 pm.
Around 400 items are set to go under the hammer including Forbury Park memorabilia, the mobile gate and the Falcon ute that goes with it, tractors and bar equipment.
The auction follows the final harness meeting at Forbury Park on July 8.
Discussions are now underway between Harness Racing New Zealand and the Forbury Park Trotting Club, with a view to selling the site early in 2022.
Anyone wanting to attend the auction in a week’s time will have to be double vaccinated, and mask wearing is mandatory. Viewing is from 10.30am.
