First on-farm yearling parades start this week

The countdown is on to next month's NZB Standardbred Yearling Sales.
 
A total of 133 yearlings will go through the ring at Karaka on Monday, February 15 with 186 two days later in Christchurch.

This week will see the first on the on-farm parades, ahead of the sales, starting in Southland on Wednesday .

The schedule is : 

Southland On-Farm Parades: Wednesday, January 14  2026 

Southern Bred Southern Reared - Beaudiene, White Stables, Arden Lodge, Macca Lodge, Tuapeka Lodge, Kadali Farm

Auckland/Waikato On-Farm Parades: Monday and Tuesday, January 19 and 20 

Monday  - Pacemakers, Rogerson Bloodstock, Breckon Farms
Tuesday  - JB Bloodstock, Hollis and Robertson Equine Services, Woodlands Stud

Christchurch On-Farm Parades: Monday and Tuesday, February 2 and 3 

Monday  - Rosedale Farm, Spreydon Lodge, Denario Breeding, Studholme Bloodstock, Dunvegan Lodge, Gael Murray, Stephen Boyd, Renwick Farm

Tuesday  - Dancingonmoonlight Farm, Laura Smith
