Club News : Winton
Twilight racing is back again this week when the Riverton Trotting Club host an impressive twelve race card at Central Southland Raceway in Winton this Friday, 4 March.
The first race is scheduled to start at 1.47pm with the last at 7.29pm.
It is another perfect opportunity to leave work a little early on a Friday afternoon and enjoy a twilight evening whilst enjoying harness racing trackside.
Feature races include a heat of the Alabar Southern Supremacy Stakes for a stake of $15,000, the Diamond Creek Farm 3 Diamonds Series 2yo Fillies Mobile Pace for a stake of $12,500, plus the www.southernharness.co.nz Nugget Final Mobile Pace and the Bill Keast Memorial Gold Chip Final Handicap Trot both for a stake of $12,000.
Patrons at the races are reminded of the need to produce vaccine passports at the gate on admission to the races and to wear masks while going to totes, toilets and bars.
Information on the meeting will be posted on www.southernharness.co.nz and facebook.com//southernharnessracing
