Club News : Winton

The annual Southland Master Plumbers Association race day takes place at Central Southland Raceway in Winton this Saturday (14 May) with 9 races scheduled, from a 12.05pm start.

As the name suggests the majority of race sponsors on the day are involved in the plumbing industry with many of the sponsors at the course for a function on the day.

The annual Murray Gray Memorial race, which remembers successful Southland trainer Murray Gray who passed away in May 2012, is also part of the programme.

The meeting is the final one for the Winton Harness Racing Club for the 2021/2022 season but there is one more opportunity to see racing at the Central Southland Raceway before the season ends when the Riverton Trotting Club race there on Thursday 26 May.

Admission to both meetings is free!
