It's New Zealand Cup day!

Welcome to the New Zealand Cup!

This afternoon at 5.50pm the 118th running of the New Zealand Cup will be held at Addington Raceway.

It’s the feature race of a jam-packed 12-race programme that kicks off at 12.15pm.

All races will be broadcast live on Trackside 1 with both pre-race and post race interviews and analysis.

On www.hrnz.co.nz we will have race by race coverage and there will be the latest information both on and off the track on our social media channels, including Facebook.

There is also a detailed liftout that’s been produced for the occasion. To download that click here

For those keen to bet on the day there are many options including guaranteed $20,000 First 4s on all races (if struck), as well as a guaranteed $100,000 Terminating Pick 6.

For the first time there is also a Box Seat national punting club where all you have to do is invest your money and let Box Seat hosts Greg O’Connor and Michael Guerin do all the work.  If they double their money for instance then so do you.  You can invest as much as you little as you like.

The Punting Club opened at 10am Saturday and will close at 1pm today.  Click here

The SENZ radio network will also have extensive coverage of Cup day  including  â€śThe Mail Run”, hosted by Louis Herman-Watt and Michael Guerin, from 8am – 10am  and “Mornings with Ian Smith” live from Addington Raceway

Even though there will be no crowds at Addington today because of Covid restrictions there is no excuse not to get involved and stay up to date with everything’s that happening.

Wherever you are, have a great NZ Cup day!
