Beloved horse who now is owned by Blake Waters and Belinda Holmes. 

 

Linden had his final race on the 30th of April 1999, he had 6 starts for 1 win and 2 thirds. Not long after he finished racing just over 23 years ago, he joined a trekking farm In Rotorua Called the Farmhouse Rotorua. He spent the last 20 years being a safe, reliable and much loved trekking horse.

 

Linden, over the 20 years of being a trekking horse, would of earned in excess of $100,000.

 

In 2020 the trekking farm closed down due to Covid. The majority of the horses were Standardbreds and have since found wonderful homes, except for a few treasured oldies who could not be rehomed due to age. 

 

Linden is now retired from riding and living his best life with his older buddies like himself from his herd.
