Life After Racing Rehomers
Harness Racing New Zealand is proud to work alongside a dedicated network of rehomers who play a vital role in giving Standardbreds a rewarding life after racing.
These trusted rehomers provide the care, training, and support needed to help horses transition into new homes and careers.
We value the strong relationships we have with our rehomers, and we are always happy to recommend any of them to owners and trainers who are looking for the right placement for their horses. Please see the list of our partnered rehomers below.

Holly Robson – After The Race
Holly’s passion for horses has been lifelong, but her journey with Standardbreds began 19 years ago with a three-year-old fresh off the track. Since then, her admiration for the breed has only deepened.
For nearly seven years, she has been working closely with Standardbreds, bringing out their versatility, resilience, and heart. Holly enjoys riding in low-level competitions and is currently producing a six-year-old gelding for eventing, with plans to make their debut this coming season.
Her favourite places to ride are the forestry and the beach-natural environments that foster trust, freedom, and the deep connection she values most in her partnership with horses.

Krystal Delany - Blue Star Rehoming
My name is Krystal, and I’ve been working in the horse industry for over 12 years.
Horses have always been a huge part of my life, and rehoming became a passion of mine because I believe every horse deserves a second chance.
My very first rehomer was Bute Mach who was an incredible horse who showed me just how rewarding this journey could be. From there, I started taking on one horse at a time, and I’ve loved every moment of seeing them thrive in their new lives.
Alongside rehoming, I’m also a busy mum to two beautiful boys. Balancing family life with rehoming can be full-on, but it’s worth every bit of effort.
Having a safe and supportive place to bring horses through makes the process so much more special, and I’m incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from the community and Harness Racing New Zealand in helping give these horses the futures they deserve.

Jenn Savill – Southridge Equine
I’ve been riding since childhood, and my passion for Standardbreds began at age 14 when I got my first.
Today, I run Southridge Equine, where I focus on training and developing horses, helping them reach their full potential.
I compete primarily in Dressage, with a little Showing on the side, but my greatest joy comes from seeing horses learn, grow, and thrive.
Career highlights include training my own L5 dressage horse and producing two Standardbreds to achieve Horse of the Year honors, finishing 5th and 3rd in their respective titles.
Outside the barn, I love adventuring with my partner and our German Pointer, and I can rarely resist a good coffee!
