3 Carnegie Hall: A long way from home, but has been given time and shown some speed in workouts and trials. Needed here.
9 T Bone Rawhide: talented type back from a spell. Workout form has been excellent and a big run expected here in a fresh state.
7 Slainte: Did it tough last time but most importantly, did it right. Confidence building and won’t stay in this grade for too long.
6 Andover The Keys: Lovely run to open the career when finishing second last time out. Has the ability and certainly not the worst here.
8 In Chevron We Trust: Handy type who was good fresh up and Willie Go West trial form looks even better now. Has to be hard to beat.
1 Croesus: Nice run on debut to finish second and is clearly going to win a few races. Gets the tactical advantage from the draw here and right in it.
7 Raksjameson: Continues to run strong races and despite a good field here today looks a strong each way hope on what we’ve seen so far.
9 Mach Quillan: Bit of word around last time and it wasn’t a bad run. Maps to get a sweet trip here and has to be given a chance of getting a slice.
3 Ask Me Major: Hasn’t had all favours in two runs back from a spell but falls into this very nicely. Has to be considered a big chance today.
8 Tact Eze: Handy enough type who’s been ticking over nicely since the last run. Likely to enjoy this challenge and one worth chucking on the tickets.
6 Triple VC: Much more like it last time and against stronger fields than this. That leaves things in a good position for this one today.
4 Melton Mafia: Good enough to win a race like this but always seems to find one or two better. Good draw and small field are a big plus.
1 The Interceptor: Big run last time after finding the front. Beaten by a smart one too. Should find this quite to the liking and hard to beat.
10 Tommys Reactor: Bit of word around since a very good workout effort recently on the track. Not a strong field so right in the mixc.
3 Rock To The Boss: Is better than what the form is showing and sliding blinds go on today so gets a chance to show the improvement we know is there.
8 The Mighty Cullen: Not a lot of luck last time out but overall form isn’t inspiring. Not a great field though so needs to be considered.
12 Broadbeach: Holds more upside than most in this line up and form overall has been good in stronger fields. Looks a good each way chance.
4 The Optimist: Knocking on the door of a success and from today’s front line draw should be handy throughout and right there when it gets serious.
6 Omaggio: Handy effort in a quick time on debut when finishing third. Going to win a race at short notice and not the worst chance here.
5 Arizona Doll: Has shown enough in runs over the short course distances so far in the career to justify having more than just a second look in this line up.
4 Cheezel: Should appreciate getting away from some strong Canterbury fields and hasn’t been going as bad as last two runs probably look. A chance here.
2 Yankee Party: A bit of upside to this filly. Two good runs to open the career and should be at peak fitness now so needs to be given a strong hope.
6 Amore Lancome: Hinted at something good with fresh up run here and then big winning next time out. Ready to rock and roll again and can rush at them late.
5 Dachy: Form on the board and should appreciate a brisk mile. Can grind right into it if given the opportunity.
9 Sekkie Monkey: Talented trotter who is still a bit of a work in progress, but headed in the right direction. Too good to not consider a big chance in this race though.
11 Full Noise: Best horse in the race, but might need one to get back to peak fitness. Could still be good enough to win it though.
14 Picketts Ridge: Talented wee trotter who will be a whole lot better for the fresh up run last week. Likes it here. Has to be in.
10 Chloe Rose: Promising young trotter who comes down from Canterbury after a big win last time. Blair Orange in the bike too, so gets a huge chance.
3 Bundoran: Won’t be here to check out the sights. Very talented pacer who will just keep getting better. Has to be a big chance here today.
6 Triroyale Brigade: Going really well at the moment and often in better fields than this too. Nathan chooses over stablemate as well.
2 Dangerous: In good nick and Blair Orange jumps into the sulky from a handy draw. That gets the attention and one we want to put in the mix.
7 Chuckles: Great runs recently and must be knocking on the door of a success at some point soon. Wide draw makes it a little harder but is needed.
8 Lawrence: Talented type in here making the most of a junior concession. Should have the wood on all of these on what he’s done in his career.
6 Delightful Deal: Two good runs since coming back to the South and should be ready to rock and roll now. We know how good she can be.
12 Machs Back: Disappointing last time out. Too good to drop though and could be the one who swoops on them all late with half a chance.
11 Deus Ex: Up and coming pacer who was a cracking second last time out and a repeat of that run could see a similar result here.
5 Love The Blues: Knocking on the door and beaten by a smart one last time out. In the zone and has to be a good chance here.
3 Lilac Becky: Much more like it last time out. She’s headed back in the right direction and deserves a strong each way look today.
1 The White Rabbit: Runs have been good this time in and should be primed and ready to give it a good shake from the good draw today.
10 Myrcella: More upside than most in this but often her own worst enemy. Could be the blow out chance here though if things pan out.
BEST: 8 Lawrence (Race 9)
NEXT: 1 The Interceptor (Race 4)
VALUE: 4 Cheezel (Race 6)
