Race 1

11 Windsor: Steps out for a new stable and workouts and trials have been excellent. Orange in the bike chasing 2000 career wins. Needed.

7 Shandon Bells: Much better effort last time out when finishing fourth. Can build on that and get a slice of this action.

9 Svelt: Into the Nathan Williamson stable and hitting out nicely in prep runs for this. Looks a big danger in a fresh state.

10 Pat The Monkey: No superstar but a genuine performer who won’t mind stepping to this challenge off the 30m handicap.

Selections: 11-7-9-10

Race 2

6 Missmollygoodgolly: Dashing effort late at The Mot last week to finish third. Only needs to step away and do things right to win here.

1 Deposit: First starter from the Matt Anderson barn. No workouts or trials but should be ready to rock and roll. Throw in the mix.

5 Maximillian: Ticking over OK. Dropped off some good form earlier in the year back can recapture that here and be a player.

4 Jacks Anne: Went nice at this meeting last year. Manners are generally good so shouldn’t be too far away from them.

Selections: 6-1-5-4

Race 3

10 Celebrating: Smart type who was just in a bad mood on debut when heavily supported. Have to go again based on what we’ve seen.

4 Fiery Reactor: Respect for the Court stable, especially with Orange in the bike. Should step up and deliver a big effort here.

8 Sport Mental: Nice runs recently and at peak fitness now with experience on the side shouldn’t be too far away from them.

2 Silent Shadow: No star but has shown glimpses of ability at times. Could be the blowout chance here with the right kind of run.

Selections: 10-4-8-2

Race 4

10 Andy Hall: Two wins from three starts. Looks a smart type in the making and if he brings the manners should be hard to beat.

14 Kiwi Crusher: Big runs in recent months and some on the grass too. This race looks well suited, even off the 15m handicap.

7 Sunny Valley: Was going to get a slice of the action last time out before bad luck struck. Can sneak into the action here.

1 Matai Jetstar: Knocking on the door recently with some good efforts. Grass track no problems and could have the last say at them.

Selections: 10-14-7-1

Race 5

14 Kayla Maguire: Turning the corner and headed in the right direction for new barn. Good effort last time out and a chance here.

10 Might George: More good than bad in the career thus far and unlucky last time out. Might need some luck from the second row but in the mix.

13 Franco June: Right kind of race for a horse with good grass track stats. Can punch through from the second line and get in on the action.

2 Melton Mafia: Placed in only start on the grass and gets a good draw to work with here so shouldn’t be too far away from the action throughout.

Selections: 14-10-13-2

Race 6

6 Miss Paddy Wagon: Some encouraging runs recently and doesn’t mind the grass track action. Enough speed to dash past them with the right run.

4 Well Said Love: Impressive winning fresh up and issues last time. Respect for stable and driver combination in an even field.

9 Wolf West: Now in the Anderson stable. That’s been a good recipe for success in almost all cases. Putting the bit watch on.

1 Black Ops: Can’t fault the form. Going great guns and comes up with the ace draw here so needs to be given every chance of success.

Selections: 6-4-9-1

BEST: 6 Missmollygoodgolly (Race 2)

NEXT: 14 Kayla Maguire (Race 4)

VALUE: 6 Miss Paddy Wagon (Race 6)
